Everyone interested in supporting the activities of this organisation can now do so online, from their apartment or office, in any amount they see fit and in any currency. Our goal is to gather enough resources needed for organising training sessions for our new beneficiaries, thus enhancing their skills and knowledge. As a result, they will become competitive in the labour market, therefore decreasing unemployment, especially among the female population. BHcrafts is more than a social enterprise – it is a story of resilience, dignity, and hope. Since 1995, we have been empowering women artisans across Bosnia and Herzegovina by providing them with fair, sustainable employment opportunities. Through every handmade product, we also preserve cultural heritage, promote fair trade, and build brighter futures for women and their families.

Supporting Unemployed Women
Unemployment remains one of the biggest challenges in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially for women living in rural and post war communities. Additionally, many of them face limited opportunities, social isolation, and economic insecurity.
Firstly, BHcrafts offers these women a chance to regain dignity and independence by turning traditional handicraft skills into sustainable income. Secondly, through training and fair employment, they become financially empowered, able to support their families, and contribute to their communities with pride.
Training the Next Generation
BHcrafts trainings target unemployed women and young people, giving them the skills and knowledge to build sustainable livelihoods. By teaching knitting, crocheting, weaving, and other traditional techniques, we help preserve cultural heritage while offering hope and opportunity to a new generation.
