Our Roots and Purpose
BHcrafts was founded in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1995 with a simple but powerful vision: to preserve traditional craftsmanship while creating sustainable employment for women who faced limited opportunities after the war. What started as a small local initiative has grown into an internationally recognized Fair Trade organization, supported by customers who believe that ethical shopping matters.
Handmade with Skill, Care, and Pride
For three decades, BHcrafts artisans have worked with care and pride to create products that combine heritage and contemporary design. Each stitch, weave, and crochet pattern tells a story of patience, skill, and resilience. Our collection includes hand-knitted Christmas stockings, crochet ornaments, upcycled boho bags, scarves, blankets, and many more handmade creations. Every item reflects the heart and talent of the artisan who made it.
